Welcome to COVID On The Brain Podcast

COVID-19 has affected every institution and science is not exempt. Dozens of articles are published every day regarding COVID-19  but despite all of this data the public was still unaware of the neurological and long-term effects of the virus.

So, as graduate students from disciplines including psychiatry, psychology and neuroscience, we joined forces to analyse all the available research on the effects of COVID-19 on the brain and present it in an easy to understand way. By doing so, we aimed to cut through a lot of the speculation surrounding COVID-19’s neurological and psychiatric effects.

Our aim for this podcast is to bridge the gap in science communication between SARS-CoV-2 research and the general public with each episode tackling a different aspect of COVID-19's effects on the brain.

Our first season will have 4 episodes which will be released every month, so watch out for Episode 1, coming this September!
