The third episode of COVID On The Brain discusses the topic of social inequities and addictions with two experts on substance abuse and addiction research.
In this episode Dr. Farooq Naeem, a psychiatrist and Chief of General and Health System Psychiatry at the Center of Addiction and Mental Health and Dr. James MacKillop, a director at the Peter Boris Center for Addictions Research provide additional insight to the social determinants of health and how they have exacerbated health risks during the pandemic by looking at health systems and understanding brain health from a social lens.
